A complete waste of time as I learn to master the design and construction of Coil Guns (or sometimes called Gauss Guns). Your help and admonishment is encouraged!
I'm a technically minded guy, who didn't take an electronics course in college (nor, finished Calculus). So, I want to stand on the shoulders of giants, and steal their hard work to make a series of coil guns, for the sheer heck of it. My ultimate goal: fire a .35 caliber, 2" long steel slug t hypersonic velocity into a watermelon.
